The Summer Flute Institute at MSU Denver is a week-long flute course designed to develop the flutist’s technical and tone development, musical expression and creativity, and build musical confidence. Classes and coaching on repertoire, orchestral playing and chamber music will give participants hands-on learning opportunities. All participants will receive daily individual and group coaching with faculty members. Performer level participants will play in repertoire classes with our faculty.
This year's class will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual learning. Strict COVID guidelines will be followed. July 6-9 will take place on the campus of MSU Denver and July 10 will take place online. Masterclass performers will be required to attend in person, participants may choose between in-person and virtual options.
